Update: September 8, 2026

We hope you've had a wonderful summer.

After 17 years of wonderful leadership of Awana, Donna and Lester have decided it is time to step aside from their Awana roles, in order to rest and recharge.  The Westview church leadership are so thankful for their years of deep commitment, generosity of their time, prayer, care, and leadership of Westview’s Awana ministry.  They have been incredible!

The church staff, through Pastor Jeff Simunic, are in process of discerning whether Awana will be running this year.  Any questions you have can continue to be directed to awana@westviewmontreal.org, to which Jeff will read and respond.  For Awana to run this year, several key roles would need to be effectively filled.  If you feel the Lord is leading you to serve in Awana, please contact Jeff as soon as possible.  Should Awana run this year, it will be a delayed start compared with previous year’s calendars / schedules.  More news will be forthcoming.

Thank you so much.

Awana is a weekly non-denominational Christian youth ministry committed to reaching boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and training them to serve Him. To learn more, watch this video
